In the wake of the recent wave of behemoth stimulus bills, assemblywoman Deborah Glick (D-66th Dist.) and her colleagues in Albany prepared to parcel out all of the money the state has coming under the recovery plan.

Will Stimulus Bring Fiscal Reform? Not Likely

The economic stimulus bill will provide immediate relief for part of New York State and City’s fiscal distress. It will stave off disaster for at least a year. It will, however, do nothing to cure the chronic structural imbalance that is now greater than ever due to the collapse of the banks and the stock market.
