Who is posting ads on construction fences in the village? The company is called National Promotions and Advertising (NPA) and is located at 1115 Broadway. The phone number 212 736-9577. NPA is a multi million-dollar company with offices in Los Angeles & New York. Their web site is www.npa.net and also www.cityoutdoorusa.com

The preferred advertising medium of NPA is called “wildposting”. There are more than 100 of their signs (many of them 8 feet high and 20 feet wide) attached to the sides of buildings in New York City without proper permits from the city. They post most of the construction fences throughout the city and the five boroughs without permission from anyone.

The city of New York says it is illegal. (please see documents attached)

Not only is this company posting construction fences, they are now attaching illegal signs to deli’s and posting them as well.

The city is aware of NPA and what they do and yet it allows them to operate their business. NPA has thousands of leased (yet illegal) locations throughout the city.

NYC passed new regulations regarding wallscapes and billboards and issues violations to outdoor ad companies, yet allows NPA to continue to operate without fining them or enforcing the DOB regulations.

What is their connection to the city that allows them to escape the wrath that other outdoor companies endure? Why doesn’t the city stop this dirty business?
